Dan lannaccone — TRELL Board Candidate
720 Michael Drive, Toms River Coachdan2627@gmail.com
As a resident of Toms River for over 30 years, I've seen the successes of TRELL and the outstanding teams this organization generates through volunteer efforts and the dedication of players and families. This history and the desire to improve our Little League facilities are the catalysts in choosing to run for a seat on the TRELL Board.
I've spent five years coaching our 9-year old son, Braden, from Tee-ball to his current Single-A Division, where we won the 2021 Spring League Championship and as a coaching unit, we have always maintained a strong belief that fun on the field produces success on the scoreboard. The primary focus for our young players and families has been a commitment of fun on and off the field of play as the relationships we can help develop will hopefully last a lifetime.
During these years, I've had the pleasure of working alongside talented managers and coaches at TRELL and have made many great friends through our involvement in this league. My wife, Allison, was awarded the Volunteer Of the Year in 2019 for her help within the organization and I feel as though it's the right time for me to get more involved with our league. Some of our family's best memories stem from Opening Day, Banner Nights at our home, End of the Season BBQ's and Fundraising Events like Night at the Races! I want all of our families to have the ability to create life long memories through events like these that help support a successful Little League.
This summer our family entrenched ourselves in post season play through experiencing and supporting our TRELL All Stars by traveling to as many games as we Could from 8u-12u up to and including making it to Bristol, CT g and Williamsport, PA. In watching these games, we recognized how much talent cur organization has on the field across multiple age groups and, in traveling, we also had the chance to see some of the best facilities in our area and beyond. We believe that our players deserve the best facilities, fields and equipment that the league can offer. My goal is to help continue our legacy and make TRELL one of the Premier Little Leagues in the Region... ..a place where other teams can't wait to play ball!
OUR HISTORY DEMANDS IT AND OUR KIDS DESERVE IT
When not at TRELL, I can he found coaching TRFC 12U Girls Soccer and assisting with IOU Girls Softball, boating, fishing and traveling.
Professionally, my resume includes a 15 year career as a Sales Manager for a large company deeply rooted as a core sponsor within Major League Baseball. The primary responsibilities within my position include recruiting, training talent, developing and growing our central NJ business through account acquisition and management. I take the core competencies that have successfully grown our business and apply them whenever possible within my role as a coach and mentor to our players and families on and off the field.
I respectfully ask for your vote to serve the players and families on the TRELL Board in any position that is asked of me. In return, I assure you that I will always be available to listen to your criticisms and concerns and will represent this league with respect and responsibility. With the support of other Board Members, I would like to help build upon our brand as we strive to make TRELL an amazing place to play Little League Baseball !
